Bangladeshi Christian Community will Celebrate Christmas Day (Bora Din) Thursday

The Bangladeshi Christian community will celebrate 'Christmas Day' (Bora Din) today in remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The day's festive activities include gift-giving, church celebrations,family gatherings for feasts and the display of various decorations—including the Christmas tree, lights, mistletoe, nativity scenes and holly. Santa Claus (also referred to as Father Christmas, although the two figures have different origins) is a popular mythological figure often associated with bringing gifts at Christmas.
President, Chief Adviser and BNP and Awami League leaders greeted the people of the Christian community and wished them the best.
