“The speeches of some ministers and ruling party leaders raise tension among people over our Dhaka Cholo programme (Let’s go to Dhaka),” Rizvi told a press briefing at the party central office.
Taking a swipe at the ruling party leaders, he said the opposition will hold their democratic programme, no matter they (govt) allow it or not.
The BNP leader said the teams, formed by the party to coordinate the Dhaka-march programme, are working across the country by distributing
banners, festoons and leaflets to mobilise people.
He called upon the police to ensure the security of people and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia during the grand rally on March 12.
Rizvi hoped that the Dhaka-march programme will be held peacefully
